I stand for schools where every child becomes a fluent reader, and teachers feel equipped and confident in making it happen. Rhythm for Reading provides schools with a structured, effective approach for readers who are still reading word by word.

I'm Dr Marion Long, a researcher, former SENDCo and professionally trained cellist. Rhythm for Reading is the research-based approach I've developed in schools since 2012, as a complement to strong phonics teaching.
